Kelemen Atrium Buy Makes News
Our most recent acquisition of the Atrium, an iconic 302,877 sqft office building in Irvine, made the Orange County Register as well as the front page of the Orange County Business Journal.
This is a huge honor for all of us here at Kelemen, and we would like to take the time to thank Oaktree Capital, the Shannon team at Newmark, and Joe Giordani at NorthMarq for their tireless hard work and dedication to ensuring this amazing opportunity. This is one of our largest transactions to date, and we have great plans in store for this asset.
Now that we have closed the deal, we are excited to begin moving forward with all of the renovations we’ve detailed in our previous blog post here. Besides reducing the Atrium’s carbon footprint via LED lighting and solar panels, increasing the number of collaborative work spaces in the building via building a conference center and creating open floor plans in many suites, and upgrading the building’s facilities, we intend to add exciting new amenities to the Atrium for the ultimate hospitality experience for our tenants.
Notably (and by popular demand), we’re installing a gym in the basement and a specialty coffee shop in our upgraded lobby. We’re already lining up specialty coffee shops and gym equipment vendors!
